For dental brands, products and services

Dental influencer. Practice owner. Your next brand partner.

I have bought for more than 20 practices, a dental lab, a supply company and an assisting school. I know what a good product does for a practice and what a bad one costs. Now I talk to dentists every week (on YouTube, on social, in my newsletter and podcast, and on this site), and I am looking for dental brands, products and services worth putting in front of them.

What we can do together

Ten ways to put your product in front of dentists.

Pick one, or build a campaign across several. Every format is made in my voice, for my audience, with your product shown doing the job it was built for.

  1. 01

Sponsored YouTube videos and product demos

A dedicated video or an integrated segment showing the product in the context of running a practice, not reading a spec sheet.

  2. 02

    Newsletter sponsorships

At most one sponsor in an issue of The Dental Grind, labeled as a sponsor, and only for a product I use or would recommend.

  3. 03

    Social media campaigns

Reels, Shorts, TikToks, carousels and Threads posts across the channels where dentists actually spend time.

  4. 04

    Product reviews and sponsored articles

An honest, in-depth review or a sponsored article on ryansmithdds.com, grounded in firsthand experience and clearly disclosed.

  5. 05

    Brand ambassador and spokesperson roles

Long-term representation: a dentist-owner who has run 20+ practices standing behind your brand across every channel.

  6. 06

    Speaking, webinars and podcasts

Keynotes and workshops at dental meetings, sponsored webinars for your customers, and guest appearances on your podcast or mine.

  7. 07

    Affiliate and referral partnerships

Performance-based arrangements where it makes sense for both sides, tracked and reported.

  8. 08

    Product advisory and dentist-owner feedback

Structured feedback on your product, pricing and positioning from someone who has been your buyer more than 20 times.

  9. 09

    Course and coaching integrations

Placement inside the Business Fundamentals curriculum or the coaching program where a tool genuinely solves the problem being taught.

  10. 10

    Co-branded tools and calculators

A free calculator or resource on ryansmithdds.com built around the problem your product solves, with your brand on it.

Who you reach

Dentists who own the decision, or are about to.

The audience is not the general public. It is the people who sign the purchase order in a dental practice, and the people who will be signing it in three years.

  • Practicing dentists and dental practice owners
  • Associates planning to buy or start a practice
  • Dental students and new graduates
  • Office managers and practice administrators
  • Multi-location owners and small group operators

Why a dentist-owner

I have been your customer more than twenty times.

I have owned and managed more than twenty practices, plus a lab, a supply company and an assisting school. When I talk about a product, it is as the person who paid for it and lived with it.

Owned and managed 20+ dental practices
Founder of a multi-location dental assisting school, a dental supply company and a dental lab
Grew an inherited Medicaid practice to 7× its original production
Real estate across commercial, medical, short-term rental and land development

How I work

Four rules, so the fit is honest before the first call.

I only recommend what I would buy for my own practices.

Every partnership starts with the product. If it would not earn a place in one of my offices, it does not earn a place in front of my audience.

Sponsored content is always disclosed.

Paid placements are labeled as such, on every channel, in line with FTC endorsement guidance. Trust is the entire asset.

I keep editorial control.

You get input on facts and accuracy. I keep the voice, the opinion and the final cut, which is why the audience listens in the first place.

Every campaign gets reported.

You receive the performance data for what we ran, so the decision to continue is made on numbers rather than on a feeling.

Questions vendors ask

Before you reach out.

How large is Ryan Smith’s audience?

Ryan has 100,000+ YouTube subscribers and tens of thousands of followers across other social platforms. These milestones were confirmed by Ryan on September 14, 2026. Other social followers are a combined description across platforms, not a count for each platform or a unique audience total. Current channel analytics are available with a proposal.

What kinds of dental companies do you partner with?

Any brand, product or service sold to dentists or dental practices: manufacturers, distributors, software, labs, supply companies, DSOs, brokers, lenders, insurers, marketing agencies, staffing firms, CE providers and startups. If dentists are your customers, we should talk.

Do you take sponsored content, or only affiliate deals?

Both, and most arrangements in between: flat-fee sponsorships, retainers for ambassador roles, performance-based affiliate deals, speaking fees and advisory engagements. The structure follows what you are trying to achieve.

Where can you reach dentists?

YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, The Dental Grind (my Monday newsletter and its podcast), ryansmithdds.com with its 140+ articles and free calculators, my courses and coaching community, and in person on stage at dental meetings.

Can you send a media kit?

It is already public at ryansmithdds.com/media-kit: channels, audience, formats and how rates work, on one page you can save as a PDF. Channel figures that change month to month come with the proposal, so the numbers you decide on are current.

Will you review a product you do not like?

I will tell you privately what I think, and I will not publish a recommendation I do not believe. I only put products in front of dentists that I would put in my own practices.

How is sponsored content disclosed?

Clearly, on every channel, in line with FTC endorsement guidance: labeled sponsored posts and videos, a disclosure line on sponsored articles, and any newsletter sponsor labeled as a sponsor.

Do you speak at dental conferences and company events?

Yes. Keynotes and workshops on practice management, profitability, acquisitions and leadership, plus sponsored webinars and podcast appearances for your customers.

How quickly do you reply?

I read every message personally and usually reply within 48 hours. Include what you sell, who it is for and what you are hoping to achieve, and the first reply will be a useful one.
